At this time of year, we reflect on the bounty of the harvest. There will be many opportunities for us to come together and give thanks for the fruits of farmers’ labours, and at all of them a collection of produce and/or of money will be taken up. The gifts of money will be given to Beacon of Hope and the gifts of produce will go to the Foodbank. Those wishing to make these gifts are asked to bring produce in a small box and financial gifts in an envelope marked ‘harvest gift’.  Forest Church Harvest thanksgiving will be at 2.30pm on Sunday 27th September in All Saints’ churchyard. Those attending are asked to dress for being outside and appropriately for the weather (whatever the weather, Forest Church goes ahead!). Please bring harvest gifts as described above, something to sit on, and a knife that can be used to cut fruit (not too sharp; just enough for the task). The service will be led by our Licensed Lay Minister, Catherine Graham, and everyone (whatever your age) is welcome. Please pass the message on to everyone you think would like to attend. The Forest Church team will be applying all the relevant guidelines to keep us COVID-compliant, and numbers are not restricted as long as we all stay in our family groups. We look forward to seeing many of you there, with children, grandchildren, friends…
